China, Singapore eye stronger cooperation

BEIJING, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- China and Singapore on Thursday reaffirmed their efforts to seek stronger bilateral cooperation.
Li Yuanchao, head of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with Singapore's Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong in the Great Hall of the People.

Wastewater Reuse System starts up in Beijing

Beijing, China -- Three months before the beginning of the 2008 games in Beijing, Siemens Water Technologies has started up a wastewater reuse system at the city’s Beixiaohe wastewater treatment plant. The city will use eco-friendly technologies in water/wastewater management. The goal is to process 90% of the wastewater, with 50% for recycle and reuse.
